Supported Employment

Our aim at HPA is to create and develop employment opportunities for people with disabilities in integrated settings.

We provide the necessary training and ongoing support to then enable their success in open employment.

Kokoda Industries

A medium sized workshop manufacturing a range of timber, steel and aluminium products. This includes parkland furniture, grandstand seating, pallets, lattice, survey pegs, sprinkler stands, army targets and other products as commissioned. Shop the range now.

Ausdesigns

A sewing business specialised in the manufacture of indigenous print conference bags, promotional bags and a wide range of gift and souvenir products. Ausdesigns also provides high-quality screen printing, digital printing, and embroidery. We can supply promotional products, hats, school wear, sportswear, Hi-Visibility wear, work wear and corporate wear. Employment Service Criteria

To be eligible for employment with HPA the following requirements must be met;

  • Age 16 or over and eligible for a Disability Support Pension.
  • Able to work for at least 8 hours per week
  • Demonstrate a desire to work in supported employment
  • An assessment will be made to ensure that the service has the resources to meet the individual’s required level of training support.

Admission Procedure & Application Process

Upon your inquiry, an Application Form will be sent to you for completion.
A meeting will be arranged when a suitable position becomes available to discuss your eligibility and the availability of current employment options.
